Hello, my name is Saugat Rai. I am 29 years old and from India. I have been living and working in Israel for the past four months as a caregiver. My previous employer was 67 years old and was battling cancer. Sadly, he passed away after fighting his illness. During my time with him, I gained valuable experience providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting him during hospital stays and treatments. I do not currently have a formal recommendation letter because my employment ended due to his passing. However, his family is happy to provide their contact number and can speak with you directly if you need a recommendation about my work, responsibility, and behavior. I also have experience with hospital care because I spent considerable time assisting my previous employer in the hospital. I am patient, responsible, respectful, hardworking, and willing to learn according to the needs of the person I care for. I can also drive and have an Indian driving licence. I understand that an Israeli licence may be required for driving in Israel, and I am willing to follow the legal requirements. Before making a decision, I would also appreciate some information about the employer so I can understand whether I am suitable for the position: • What is the employer’s current physical condition and level of mobility? • Does he have any medical conditions or diseases that I should know about? • Does he need assistance with walking, bathing, dressing, eating, medication, or using the toilet? • Does he need care during the night, and is there a regular night routine? • What kind of food or cooking is expected? • Are there any other important responsibilities or special requirements? • What is the salary and what are the working conditions?
