Weekly Rest Day: Finding a Reliver

Are you planning a vacation or a weekly rest? Here are some things you should know about finding a reliever:

1. Finding a reliever during a holiday or a weekly rest is the employer's responsibility, not the worker's.

2. The worker can assist in finding a reliever, however, weekly rest or holidays cannot be conditioned on the availability of a reliever.

3. If there is a reliever, their pay is not related to the permanent worker's salary. The permanent worker is entitled to receive pay based on the balance of vacation days accrued to their credit, whereas the reliever is entitled to a separate salary.

יוצאת ליום מנוחה שבועי או לחופשת מולדת? הנה מספר דברים שעליך לדעת על מציאת עובדת מחליפה:

1. האחריות למצוא פתרון בזמן חופשת המולדת ויום המנוחה השבועי היא של המעסיק ומשפחתו ולא של העובדת.

2. העובדת יכולה לסייע במציאת מחליפה אולם לא ניתן להתנות יציאה לחופשה במציאת מחליפה.

3. במידה שישנה מחליפה – שכר אינו קשור לשכרה של העובדת הקבועה. העובדת זכאית לשכר בהתאם ליתרת ימי החופשה שצבורים לזכותה ואילו העובדדת המחליפה זכאית לשכר במנותק מכך.
