About Me

Hello, my name is Gretchen. I’m 34 years old, originally from the Philippines, and I have been working here in Israel as a dedicated caregiver for over three years and two months. During this time, I have gained valuable experience caring for an elderly woman with multiple complex health conditions, including colon cancer, dementia, heart issues, balance difficulties, diabetes, high blood pressure, and post-operative needs. In addition to providing daily personal care, I have also become skilled in using medical equipment such as lifters and mobility aids for individuals who are unable to walk. I always handle these responsibilities with the utmost care and professionalism. On a personal level, I consider myself a very simple and dependable person. I am compassionate, empathetic, kind, respectful, and trustworthy. I bring a great deal of patience to my work and genuinely enjoy supporting and caring for elderly individuals. I treat those under my care as I would treat my own parents—with tenderness, love, and dignity. What sets me apart is my naturally cheerful personality. I try to bring lightness and joy to those around me, believing that emotional well-being is just as important as physical health. I always aim to create a warm, positive, and nurturing environment. Lastly, I take my responsibilities very seriously and always pay close attention to the needs and preferences of both the person I am caring for and their family.
