“To whom it may concern, Sama helped my mother for 4.7 years. In 2014 my mom had a severe stroke. With extensive rehab at REUT she managed to partially recover – walk with a walker and have some of her speech returned. She lived in Gil Paz in Kfar Saba and once returning from rehab she needed 24hrs help. A couple of years later she lost her mobility suddenly. As she was heavy, she needed extra help moving her from chairs to bed with a lift, showering etc. Later on she lost the ability to use the bathroom as well. At some point it included helping her to eat as she was losing her mobility with her hands. The treatment became complex and challenging to say the least. Sama joined us after my mother lost her mobility and was extremely helpful in taking care of her. In the first couple of year she would come 7 to 8 times a day to help with most hard stuff like the movements , showers and bed time preparation and ect. Over a year ago when the other worker was on vacation for a few weeks, Sama took over alone and did a great job. Not only taking care of my mother but ensuring everything was clean and fresh. Sama is strong and committed. In the past years Sama lived at my mother’s apartment full time and they all got along very well. This is a tough time for us as my mom just passed away. I am taking the time to write this letter as I hope to help Sama in any way I can. I will be happy to talk on the phone anytime. Rina Rotshild-Schneur ” ... Read More
