**Job Description – Live-In Caregiver for Elderly Couple (Netanya Area)** We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and reliable live-in caregiver to assist an elderly couple who live independently in their home. ### About the Parents * **Mother, age 86** – Independent in her daily functioning. She requires help with laundry and light household tasks. She is an engaging conversationalist and enjoys meaningful interaction. * **Father, age 90** – Requires assistance with bathing and some physical support around the home. He is a warm and kind person. Both parents are in **good cognitive condition** and are mentally sharp. The support needed is primarily physical rather than cognitive. They speak **Polish, Russian, and Hebrew fluently**, and **basic English**. ### Responsibilities * Assistance with bathing (for father) * Laundry and light housekeeping * General household support and organization * Grocery shopping and errands * Picking up medications * Accompanying parents to medical appointments and city errands * Providing respectful, attentive support while maintaining their dignity and independence ### Position Details * **Live-in position**, including overnight stay and weekends * Caregiver will have a **private room** * Home is located in the **Netanya area**, with **convenient public transportation to central Netanya and Tel Aviv** * The neighborhood includes **parks and is close to the sea**, offering a pleasant living environment ### Requirements * Prior experience in elderly care preferred * Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills * Responsible and dependable * Ability to safely assist with mobility and personal care * Good communication skills We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy, and attentive who can provide both practical assistance and a supportive human presence.
